Once I learned how to paint hydrangeas from Ros Stallcup, I started to paint them on everything.

- My name is Lisa DeFeo. I named my business after a watercolor I painted of my Granny's House. I went from watercolor, to oils, to acrylic. I have taken several decorative painting classes, including classes with Ros Stallcup. I painted flowers and landscapes for years. One day, on a lark, I painted a West Highland terrier on an ornament. I have been painting mostly dogs and cats, horses and rabbits, since then. I am an animal lover myself, so I really relate to my the people who buy my work. My own dog, Jake, is a dachshund-beagle mix that we rescued about 8 years ago. He brings us joy and laughter every day.
